EchoSOS is a free emergency app for better preparation and an easy emergency call - worldwide.
More about the emergency appNumerous emergency and health care organisations are part of the growing EchoSOS network. The emergency app is the link between the users and the organisations. The EchoSOS digital apps for organisations have been developed in close collaboration with industry partners. Together, we pursue the goal of ensuring that in an emergency, everyone receives the right help as quickly as possible.
Become a patronGood preparation and smooth communication are life-saving in an emergency. EchoSOS has been advocating for better emergency preparedness and communication for years.
The majority of the population now owns a smartphone. Nevertheless, communication and finding injured people in an emergency is still a problem. Jocelyn Corniche, MD, then a Rega emergency doctor, was confronted with this every day and set out to find solutions. He set up EchoSOS to simplify first contact and communication between those seeking help and the emergency services. EchoSOS is constantly being developed to meet the challenges in rescue and health care.
Our numerous partners from the rescue and healthcare sectors use the EchoSOS app and associated systems along the entire rescue chain. The emergency app serves as a link between those seeking help and specialists to better communicate and share information.
M.D. Jocelyn Corniche started the project in 2011 with the help of fundraising. His many years of experience as an emergency doctor with Rega motivated him to improve rescues with the help of modern technology.
