Geobased numbers such as the SOS number of the local piste rescue organisation appear directly in the EchoSOS emergency app when staying in the specific area. The Emergency Locator helps rescue forces to localize callers quickly and easily.
Guests often don’t have the correct SOS number immediately at hand. The number of the rescue partner in a specific area automatically appears on the home screen of the emergency app.

The number 1 in Swiss ski resorts
The Emergency Locator provides you with important information about the person calling and helps you to search for injured persons in the terrain:
«With the help of EchoSOS, we have already been able to locate several blocked freeriders in poor visibility and escort them safely down into the valley.»
«We gain valuable time when we are alerted directly via the EchoSOS app. These minutes can be life-saving.»
If a user alerts a rescue organisation via the SOS number in the emergency app, the GPS location is transmitted directly with the call. The caller does not need internet access on his part. Rescue workers immediately see the precise location in the login area of the Emergency Locator.
Rescue forces can localize conventional calls outside the emergency app using the SMS function. The caller receives an SMS with a link. By clicking on the link, the GPS location is being transmitted.
Emergency Locator does not require any installation or training. Simply log in to www.echosos.com with your partner login or download the Pro App to locate injured people on the move.
